Description
Located on a narrow plateau between the majestic slopes of Mount Sumbing and Mount Prau, the dual valley winds create balanced pressure and a consistently cool temperature throughout the year, slowing the ripening of Arabica coffee cherries, allowing the organic nutrients to be rich and perfectly crystallized.
Currently, 100% of coffee production on the island of Java occurs on small plantations with an average size of almost 3 hectares. Our commercial-grade Javanese coffee comes from villages in Temanggung, Central Java, Indonesia, where the beans are hand-picked. To produce the best quality coffee, we still use natural and traditional processes. Natural coffee processing itself is actually a traditional processing method that involves drying in the sun. Currently, the natural process is not widely practiced because it requires a longer processing time, up to 2 months from cherry picking to packaging the green coffee beans.
